This template writes the license information for a file. It also categorizes the page according to the license, unless the nocat parameter is provided. The template defaults to a message for fair use, but the license may be changed by setting the first parameter to:

• cc-a2.5: CC-Attribution 2.5. Optionally, add the attribution with parameter 2.
• cc-a-sa3.0: CC-Attribution-ShareAlike 3.0. Optionally, add the attribution with parameter 2.
• pd: Public domain file.
• user: An user-made file where licensing information was not given.
• unknown: No license given.
