HSS mission page creation

I decided to work on creating pages for the HSS missions since they haven't been taken care of. Theres a few things I'd like to point out:

• The requiered scores at the top right of every HSA mission page seem to be glitched (at least for me). It says the scores for Gold are the same for Silver. Since this is an overall bug on multiple pages, I think this doesn't really belong here, but I'm pointing it out anyway, since it also happens here, I couldn't fix it and I'm not sure where to say this.
• I took the template used on HSA mission pages and applied it here. I also included an Assault Ops section that the pages from the previous game are missing.
• Theres lots of objectives on this mission, mostly because its an introduction and the developers somewhat made it into a tutorial, probably in case new players didn't bother with the official tutorial at all. I can't really say I like the aspect of so many objectives grouped together in one place, but the rest of the missions don't have quite as many.
• I left the "previous" part at the top right as "none". I'm not sure what to put there, really. The next missions seems to point that this one takes place at the same time as Outskirts. But since this is a supposition, I didn't include it.

I double-triple checked before saving but please correct anything I might have messed and contact me if there's anything you want to say. I'll be creating pages for the other missions as soon as I get more ready.

Important - Error, transcripts and images

While adding text to the "Objective(s)" section at the top right box, I noticed the part with the scores reads "Spartan Assault scores". This is due to the fact that I took as template the page for Assault on CF-32 and the script creates that text automaticaly, so I don't see how to change it.

Also, since this game features dialogue and instructions by Kwon, I'm considering a "Transcript" section for every page. This howerver would delay the overall creation of the other 29 mission pages if I do it all. I can make a full transcript of Kwon's dialogue, but I'd appreciate if somebody could compliment these transcripts by adding the events that happen throughout the missions to them, just like mission pages for major games have that. If not, then transcripts will have to wait until I finish every page.

Lastly, I updated the thumbnail image. The first one had a greenish outline for being a menu screenshot and was very small. However I took a screenshot during gameplay that came out nearly identical to the in-game thumbnail. This one doesn't have any green outlines and has a much better quality. I verified every mission, and their thumbnails can be recreated during gameplay. I believe this will benefit these pages, but if the original thumbnails are requiered anyway, please let me know.

Regarding transcripts and possible redundancy with "Objectives" section

I decided to get the transcripts ready for the two mission pages I have created before I move on to the others. Note that in the Objectives section a lot of the events happening around and outside the playable area are described. I did this because that's kind of how it was done on Assault on CF-32 (only a little more extended), altough I now think this should be corrected.

For now, I will write the transcripts, which will include all dialogue, and I will relocate event descriptions from the Objectives section into the Transcript, as it should be.

My proposition is to merge the Objectives section with the Transcript if possible, please take a look at an excerpt of how I would like this to be:

Two Hornets fly above a plaza where a large battle between UNSC and Covenant forces takes place. Scorpion tanks exchange fire with Wraiths while groups of Marines attempt to hold out large numbers of Sangheili and Unggoy. Several Sparrowhawks, Hornets and Banshees battle overhead.

• Lieutenant Kwon (COM): "Spartan. I'm Lieutenant Kwon. I'll be on comms to assist you throughout all your missions."

As the two Hornets approach the a park, several SOEIV pods land in the vicinity. The view focuses on a single pod that landed inside the park's boundaries

• Lieutenant Kwon (COM): "That was a bone rattler! The original landing zone got too hot, so we dropped you here instead."

The SOEIV pod opens and a Spartan-IV clad in orange War Master armor jumps out

• Lieutenant Kwon (COM): "Looks like the impact busted your weapons. We'll need to replace 'em. Sending you a waypoint."

⚠ Head into the park

Pay attention to the last line I wrote. During gameplay, new objectives are highlighted with a warning sign. This is basicaly my idea on how Transcript and Objectives sections could be merged.

Obviously i'm only adding the basic transcript and nothing else until I hear what others think about this idea, so please vote to support or to reject this.

Your format looks fine as far as I'm concerned. I think the Spartan Assault pages only do the "Objectives" sections because they have no transcripts, but if you're willing to write those for Spartan Strike, there really isn't a need to keep the sections separate. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 00:49, 14 October 2015 (EDT)
