Arthur was a member of the Spartan-II Program.He was killed in action against the Covenant.
He participated in an operation to retrieve a high priority "package" from a Covenant fleet, operating a Booster Frame in an attempt to infiltrate a ship. He was crushed between two Cruisers while providing cover for Kelly-087, whose own Booster Frame had been damaged. Presumably, Arthur was listed as Missing in Action.[1]
Trivia
Before The Package was released on Halo Waypoint, Many were thinking that this sparten was Fred, but it has been confirmed now that it was another sparten.
