A Wing is a military unit in use by the United Nations Space Command Air Force[1][2] and Swords of Sanghelios.[3]

Composition
A Wing in the UNSC Air Force combines several aircraft Squadrons with non-aircraft units to provide services such as airbase operation and fuel refining. Wings are placed on garrison deployments.[4] For example in the case of the 22nd First Response Wing was garrisoned with several launch sites such as blah on an unknown world with at least 2 SS-1000 Sabres.[2]

Composition
A Wing in the Swords of Sanghelios consistst of several aircraft, notably in the case of Lar Wing, at least 5 D'nomlhe-pattern Banshee. Wings are often deployed together[3][5]

Occasionally wings are made based on two factions working together, Union Wing consisting of at least 4 pilots Spartan-IV and Sangheili were present at ANVIL Station.[6] At least in Harmony Wing, each pilot was a volunteer, with them flying Elsedda-pattern Banshees.[7]
