Keyes' pipe
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Keyes' pipe was an heirloom tobacco pipe that belonged to Captain Jacob Keyes. A billiard style pipe, it was passed down to him by his grandfather. Despite being against regulations, Keyes kept it with him most times in his pocket, using it to aid concentration - not necessarily by smoking it, but at least holding it and chewing on its tip.[1][2] However, there were two occasions in which Keyes ignored United Nations Space Command regulations and smoked his pipe on the UNSC Pillar of Autumn's bridge.[3][4] By the 26th Century, pipes like his had become antiquated, replaced by self-lighting cigars and cigarettes. Keyes kept the pipe throughout his entire military career all the way up to the Battle of Installation 04, until he was infected by the Flood.
The pipe hanged from one of the tentacles connected to the Flood Proto-Gravemind, the Flood form Keyes was integrated into.[5]
Easter eggs
The Marathon logo, also the Pillar of Autumn's ship emblem, is marked on the pipe.

Silver Timeline
- "Got a light?"
- — Keyes' final words, to a group of Covenant soldiers.[6]
During the Fall of Reach, as he was about to die, Admiral Jacob Keyes pulled out his pipe and nonchalantly asked the Covenant soldiers facing him if any of them had a light. It along with everyone in the area was incinerated when Talia Perez ignited her evacuation ship's engines to escape, setting off the aloof fuel in the air.[6]
Trivia
Finding and looking at the pipe in Halo: The Master Chief Collection will unlock the No Smoking achievement.
