Breaker is a multiplayer map which made its debut in Halo Infinite in Season 02: Lone Wolves.[3]
Universe and lore
Breaker takes place at a Banished shipbreaking yard in Chiltift Basin on Camber, which was established on the site of a former UNSC fleet depot which was destroyed in a Covenant raid in 2542. Spartans Sigrid Eklund and Hieu Dinh took part at a recon operation at this base in 2559 or 2560, which saw them discover the Banished AI Iratus.[4] After Iratus managed to compromise and hijack Dinh's armor, Spartans at the Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science undertook combat simulations on a virtual recreation of the shipbreaking yard to draw Iratus away from Dinh.[5]
Overview
Breaker is a Big Team Battle map split into three distinct sections. The team bases are set on each side of the map, with one side being within the ruins of a UNSC frigate, while the other side is set in and around a decommissioned turbine. Between the two bases is a large Banished facility, featuring a large plasma cutter mounted on a crane that periodically activates and moves across the center of the map.
This map marked the debut of the Last Spartan Standing mode during the Interference narrative event.

Production Notes
