Horatio Fry, callsign Shadow Leader, is a SPARTAN-IV supersoldier who serves as team leader of Fireteam Shadow on the UNSC Infinity.[1] [2]
Biography
Requiem

In February 2558, Fry and the rest of Fireteam Shadow assisted Fireteam Crimson in protecting the science team at "The Refuge" by infiltrating and destroying Panom’s Canticle, a Covenant Zanar-pattern light cruiser.[1][2]
Installation 07
- Main article: Battle for Zeta Halo
On December 12, 2559, Fireteam Shadow was onboard the UNSC Infinity when it was ambushed by Banished forces upon arrival at Installation 07.[3] As the Infinity fell to the Banished assault, Captain Lasky ordered the crew to abandon ship. During the battle, Fry and fellow Fireteam Shadow's member Theodore Sorel helped Fireteam Taurus to evacuate Captain Lasky in one of the Infinity's main hangar bays. Once Lasky was safely evacuated, the Spartans too abandoned ship, with Fry asking Nina Kovan a report about her evacuation status.[4][5] It is unknown if Fry made it to the surfice of Zeta Halo or if he survived the six month long conflict on the ring.
