Hyperius is a Jiralhanae Spartan Killer in the service of the Banished and a brother to the fellow warrior Tovarus.[2][3]

Biography

In 2560, Hyperius was present at the Installation 07 conflict, during which the Jiralhanae encountered the Spartan-II John-117. He and Tovarus engaged the Spartan after he had destroyed three Gorespike cannons, but they were unsuccessful, and died at his hands.[1]

Equipment

Hyperius has the helmet and torso from HUNTER-class Mjolnir armor mounted to one of his pauldrons, alleged to be from from the suit worn by Jameson Locke,[4] by Banished propaganda officer Glibnub.[5] He also has a necklace composed of what appears to be the fingers of Spartans.[2][3] He rides on a special form of the Banished Chopper with gold plating and energy blades when boosting it. He wields a Ravager and is equipped with a Jump pack.
