- Dr. Catherine Halsey makes an entry in her journal wherein she identifies four Spartan-IIs that she and Franklin Mendez agree are the best candidates for leadership out of all the children in the program. Those four are Kurt-051, Jerome-092, Frederic-104, and John-117. - Doctor Catherine Halsey summons Jai-006 and Adriana-111 regarding their escape attempts and manages to convince them to say by saying that she offers them a family in the form of the Spartan program.[3]
