Player character customization returns in Halo 4 but with more options than in previous titles.
Overview
Unlike in previous Halo titles, players can customize specific armor color skins such as camouflage patterns and other, more ostentatious designs. Players will be able to customize the same areas that can be altered in Halo: Reach, though concept art reveals far more in-depth customization that has yet to be confirmed for the final game. Armor effects are slated to return though it is currently unknown how many or how extensive they will be.
