Keyes pipe held on the Flood tentacle of the brain form.
When you find that Captain Keyes is dead and taken from the flood on the Level Keyes in Halo: Combat Evolved, if you look at one of the overhanging tentacles of the Brain Form you will see the pipe that Keyes is always found holding.
