Mindoro is the capital city of the colony world Cascade,[1] located in Lhopat.

Mindoro spread over 50 kilometers in each direction and was encircled by five space elevators, with a single new one in the center of the city. It also had a wide river with road bridges crossing it. There was at least one eight-lane highway in the city as well.[2]

Postwar[edit]
Following the Human-Covenant War several corporations based out of Mindoro began construction of the Nova Austin space elevator.[3]
Several MJOLNIR (GEN2) armor was tested and used here. Cascade Stronghold Technologies ported the ODST armor to the (GEN2) armor here,[4] Naphtali Contractor Corporation tested the AIR ASSAULT-class Mjolnir here,[5] and the PROTECTOR-class Mjolnir variant was used in raids on Mindoro and Volamon.[6]
On November 23, 2559, James Solomon would look for Chloe Hall in the city. This search resulted in several brawls leading to a police chase through the city. He and Chloe would escape via a space elevator.[2]
