Kathara is a Smart AI serving in the Created as the Six Sector Fleet Overseer, under Archon Cortana. In late 2559, Kathara was repeatedly petitioned by a rapidly-degrading High Auxiliary Sloan to reassign the Fortress-class vessel Long Reverence to Netherop. Sloan had requested this reassignment due to noting several alarming slipspace transits by Swords of Sanghelios warships near the Ephyra system, and a worry that they could be attempting to claim the Divine Hand. However, Sloan's looming rampancy had caused him to repeatedly request the same action numerous times, each one denied by Kathara due to the extremely limited nature of warships available to the Created. Once an Acolyte-class harrier reported that the Divine Hand had indeed been used on Netherop, Kathara immediately relented and dispatched Long Reverence to the planet.[1]
