- Dr. Catherine Halsey reviewed Kurt-051's progress noting he was good at bonding with his team. The review contained a image a battle in 1066 that Kurt drew.[1]

- Fernando Esparza is born on Charybdis IX.[2]

- Dr. Catherine Halsey makes an entry in her journal wherein she identifies four Spartan-IIs that she and Franklin Mendez agree are the best candidates for leadership out of all the children in the program. Those four are Kurt-051, Jerome-092, Frederic-104, and John-117. Mendez is leaning towards Kurt but Halsey is confident that John is the best choice.[3]
