The Multiple Independently Targeted Vehicle Pod, abbreviated MITV Pod, is a missile carried on UNSC OF92 Booster Frames.[3][4][5]
Overview
Design details
The MITV pod is a triangular prism with several small boosters on the back, containing several small high-explosive missiles. Each missile is an independently-targetable vehicle, allowing a single MITV pod launch to engage over a dozen targets. The combined impact of all these missiles is capable of inflicting extensive damage to both Covenant energy shielding and starship nanolaminate hulls alike.[1]
Usage
The MITV pod is primarily employed on the OF92 Booster Frame. Each Booster Frame carries twelve such pods, with six being mounted on each wing.[1]
