Shadow is the name applied to a series of Covenant Troop/Vehicle Transports.[1]
Summary
Shadows are large troop carriers utilized by the Covenant and its remnants[2] for the purposes of transporting infantry, cargo, and light vehicles. Despite its size, Shadow has been seen to move at impressive speeds over open terrain.[3]
Variants
Death Wagon
- Eklon'dal Workshop Death Wagon: A variant of the Shadow made by Unggoy and utilized by forces of the Banished, serving under Yapyap and his rebellion against Atriox. The Death Wagon is outfitted with methane launchers, as opposed to the conventional Shadow's plasma cannons and troop payload.
Ruwaa-pattern
- Ruwaa-pattern Shadow: Troop transported employed by the Covenant. This variant is capable of transporting Ghosts in its underbelly, or hosting up to eight soldiers.
Cargo tug
- Covenant cargo tug: This vehicle is not explicitly related to the Shadow family of vehicles, but does have an almost identical outward appearance. This vehicle is capable of flight.
