Now They Fly? is a Halo 4 achievement added with the Crimson Map Pack. It was unlocked when a player killed an enemy player while airborne in a Warthog.[1] It could only be unlocked on a Crimson map.
Following the shutdown of Xbox 360 Halo online services on January 13, 2022, this achievement is no longer attainable.[2][3]
Tips[edit]
The achievement could be unlocked by shooting an enemy with the Warthog's M46 LAAG or by sitting in the vehicles' passenger seat and shooting enemies with a weapon. Landing on and splattering an enemy would unlock the achievement for the driver.
The achievement could be earned on Harvest and Wreckage, the two Crimson maps which feature Warthogs. Harvest arguably provided the greatest chance for passengers, as the map features numerous ramps which players can use to get airborne. Wreckage featured perhaps the best chance to earn an airborne splatter, which the player could achieve by driving the Warthog through one of the man cannons. This would propel the Warthog through the air onto the top cliffside mesa which players often fought to control.
