The map is set in a street named Haller Street, Mombasa, Earth.[1] It takes place after the Battle of Mombasa in 2552 as the city is in the midst of an urban renewal.[2]

Production notes
The map was first shown unnamed in the A New Generation trailer[3] and was eventually shown in more detail with hints to it's setting in the Halo Infinite Multiplayer Overview trailer.[1] Finally, in a Canon Fodder post on Halo Waypoint, Bazaar had it's name revealed and further story details divulged.[2]
