The tug is a spacecraft used by the Covenant. It features two U-shaped hulls that separate and clamp onto another vehicle. One hull connects to the stern while the other connects to the bow of the damaged ship. Both sections then tow the disabled vehicle to the nearest repair center.[1]

During Operation: FIRST STRIKE, SPARTAN Blue Team was towed aboard the Unyielding Hierophant by such a vessel.[1]
