The Forerunner console is a Forerunner information terminal that can be found on Genesis. The console is similar to the Z-9930 Information Vector Console, though only plays audio recordings rather than audiovisual data.
History
Some time following the activation of the Halo Array, a living Forerunner used the consoles on Genesis to record his search for Bastion.[1]
Gameplay
These consoles can be activated in-game in a similar manner to the UNSC Data pads, Sangheili Curveblades and Covenant data discs. Once activated, they will play a piece of Mission Intel. These consoles can be found on the missions Reunion, Enemy Lines, Genesis, The Breaking and Guardians.
