The S1 canister shell, also known as Salient One, is a type of 90mm ammunition used by M808B Scorpions, M808S Scorpions, and M850 Grizzlies as early as February 2531. Referred to as "grapeshot" by UNSC Marines, the shell is extremely effective against massed units and enemy structures.[1] Upon detonation, it produces a very large blast that is almost invariably fatal to unprotected infantry.
Gameplay
"Canister Shell" can be researched in the UNSC Vehicle Depot in Halo Wars and UNSC Garage in Halo Wars 2. Afterwards, all Scorpions will be equipped with it as their special ability.
