Template:Planet Cleyell was a colony world of the Unified Earth Government located in the Outer Colonies.[1] Despite evading the genocidal Covenant during the Great War, the colony was attacked in 2556 by a remnant of the former alien empire who subsequently glassed the entire surface with the exception of a single city.[1] UNSC Cascadia moved into orbit of Cleyell soon after to deploy Army and Marine search-and-rescue teams to relieve the stranded colonists on the surface.[1]
