Sublime Transcendence was a Covenant supercarrier, the flagship of the Combined Fleet of Righteous Purpose. It was commanded by Imperial Admiral Xytan 'Jar Wattinree.
Operational history
In August 2552 the ship picked up a NOVA Bomb along with some mining equipment from Reach, implying that either it was present at the Fall of Reach or it had visited the planet afterward.
A few months later, during the Great Schism, the carrier and its fleet were at Joyous Exultation along with as many other Sangheili-controlled ships as could be found. They met to plan a strike against the Jiralhanae and to decide what to do about the Flood, then later the Humans.
Destruction
The ship, most of its fleet, and the planet's moon were all destroyed when one of the Grunts on board, Kwassass, inadvertently triggered a voice cue in a databox, thereby arming the NOVA bomb: after playing a message by Admiral Whitcomb, the detonation was caused by a group of Huragok, who reinserted the databox inside the bomb itself, despite Kwassass's efforts to prevent it after realizing about the threat.[1]
