To get the skull the player must destroy 100 sentinels, the skull spawns at the bow of the ship and is only possible to get via hornet or Vulture due to it being under the command post

To get the skull the player must destroy 100 sentinels, the skull spawns at the bow of the ship and is only possible to get via hornet or Vulture due to it being under the command post.

The black box is on the hull of the ship, near the back. It is on the side of the ship farthest from the camera (the ships left/port side) and it requires air units to pick it up.

This level introduces a miniature [[Halo Array]], except rather than having an effect range on a stellar scale, the ring only creates an energy field within its own diameter, destroying any form of life, including Flood. The energy field also damages other things, such as vehicles.

While entering the [[Micro Dyson Sphere]] inside the planet, the crew aboard the [[Spirit of Fire]] must travel through a narrow tunnel through the thin crust of the [[Shield World]]'s outer sphere. The Miniature Halo Array, "cleanses" any Flood or unknown sentient species, protecting the inside of the of the [[Shield World (Halo Wars)|Shield World]]. Nonetheless, The Flood have apparrently found a way to bypass this quarantine system, and have successfully taken hold on the Shield World's interior, as is revealed in the next level, [[Beachhead (Level) | Beachhead]]
