The F-99 Wombat is a UNSC Air Force vehicle. It is a carrier-based unmanned air combat vehicle, that was originally going to be featured in Halo 3. It was removed, and was featured in the Art of Halo 3 book.[1] It wasn't actually officially named the Wombat, but was just a joke referring to the fighter's designation.
