Once serving as a special inspector for Gao's Ministry of Protection, Veta Lopis was recruited into the Office of Naval Intelligence after Operation: JOVIAN WHISTLE in July 2553. Since then, she has led a Ferret team consisting of three young Spartan-IIIs. Tasked with covertly investigating criminal activities and other situations that may pose a threat to the Unified Earth Government, Veta's team recently infiltrated the Keepers of the One Freedom, posing as devout believers of the Covenant faith.
