{{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Fernando Esparza|File:HINF Ending Pilot.png|Fernando Esparza is a civilian contractor who was stationed aboard the UNSC ''Infinity'' when it arrived at Installation 07 in late 2559. After hearing of John-117's defeat at the hands of Atriox, Esparza stole Pelican Echo 216 to escape the besieged vessel, only to end up stranded in space. Six months later, having found John-117 adrift among the debris of the initial battle, Esparza reluctantly assisted the Spartan as he confronted Banished forces across the ring. The two bonded over their mistakes, and Esparza ultimately came to terms with his desertion of the UNSC, learning to work as a team with John-117 and the Weapon.}}</option>

Iratus

Iratus is a Smart AI that was created in secret by the technology firm Lux Voluspa using the brain of a Jiralhanae rather than a human. After launching a cyberwarfare attack on Lux Voluspa, the Banished stole Iratus from the facility, later assigning the AI to oversee shipbreaking operations on the former human colony of Camber. During a mission to the world, Spartans Sigrid and Dinh discovered Iratus, with Dinh capturing the AI inside his neural interface. Returning to the Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science with their prize, Iratus was carefully extracted from Dinh's neural interface and quarantined. However, the AI would break containment and find his way into a subterranean ONI facility where he began to infect the armor and neural interfaces of the academy's Spartan trainees.
