VX 7 nerve gas is a type of nerve agent used by the United Nations Space Command armed forces. It is likely an updated version of the highly toxic VX nerve agent introduced after World War II.
Service history
Canisters containing the nerve gas were strewn throughout New Mombasa during the Covenant's attack on the city.[1] The UNSC In Amber Clad had a stock of VX 7 canisters and seemingly deployed some to the surface of Installation 05. Jiralhanae forces captured some of the gas and likely planned to use it against the humans.[2]

Production notes
The nerve agent's name is one of Bungie's many references to the number seven.
