Overview
Specifications
The TAC variant of ODST armor bears resemblance to the late war design of the armor, with a notably boxier design. The front is equipped with multiple ammunition pouches, and additionally comes equipped with an ammunition backpack and a combat knife.[2] The helmet is capable of equipping an AN/PCK-221 FARNDALE Command Network Module. The armour's component pieces are capable of being employed on the Mark VI MJOLNIR platform.[3] The ODST/TAC armor is rated for vaccuum, allowing operators to perform short spacewalks on the exterior of spacecraft when needed.[4]
Usage
The ODST/TAC armor is used by troopers operating in a command role.[1] It was employed by Ethan Graves of Fireteam Raven during the Battle of Installation 04.[2]
In-game information
Halo: Fireteam Raven
The ODST/TAC armor is worn by players playing as Ethan Graves. It confers no in-game effects.
Halo 3
As of Season 6: Raven, the ODST/TAC is available for use as an armor permutation in the Halo 3 component of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. Unlike the version seen in Halo: Fireteam Raven, in Halo 3 the helmet has a Command Network Module attachment while a combat knife is attached to the left shin.
