The Halo: The Master Chief Collection Multiplayer Map Book is a strategy book written by 343 Industries and released as a guide for the multiplayer component of Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It was included in select limited editions of The Master Chief Collection available at Best Buy in the US[1] or GAME in the UK[2], or as a standalone purchase.[3]

Overview

The book contains top-down layouts, strategies, spawn locations and callouts for all maps included in Halo: Combat Evolved (including those previously-exclusive to the PC port), Halo 2 (including those exclusive to both Xbox and PC ports of the game), Halo 2: Anniversary, Halo 3 and Halo 4. Due to the guide's release at the launch of The Master Chief Collection, it does not include information on maps released after the initial launch of the game such as Remnant and those of the Halo: Reach multiplayer component. All downloadable content maps for Halo 2, Halo 3 and Halo 4 are included in the book.

Each map's page includes a full-colour illustration of the map in question (similar to those included in the loading screens of The Master Chief Collection) with labels identifying callouts and weapon/ equipment spawns, and a second page listing some general useful tips and strategies to keep in mind while playing on the map.
