Halo Reborn is a song that plays at the beginning of the level Halo in Halo 3. It is part of the Halo 3: Original Soundtrack, and includes the songs Halo Reborn, Guilt, and Punishment. It was remade from Under Cover of Night from the Halo: Original Soundtrack and is 3 minutes and 59 seconds long (3:59). The song's title is a clear reference to the new and untouched replacement of installation 04.
Halo Reborn begins with mournful vocals accompanied by some minor electronic sounds. At approximately 1:51, the sounds become more perceptible and at 2:09, a new volley of sounds are generated (In gameplay, this is when Flood Combat Forms arrive on the installation in Flood Dispersal Pods. This continues until 2:46, when the sounds die. Finally, at 3:34, a part of the Halo Original Soundtrack song, Shadows is played. The song ends on a jarring violin chord.
The beginning of this track is featured in the Finale Track of the Halo 3: ODST Original Soundtrack. It is featured during the Reborn Relic Movement. This soundtrack was also played in the Halo 3 Landfall Trailer, Last One Standing when Bravo-22 receives Master Chief's signal.
