Halo: Renegades is a novel set in the Halo universe by Kelly Gay, and released on February 19, 2019.[1][2] The novel continues the story of Gay's 2016 novella Halo: Smoke and Shadow, picking up on Rion Forge and the crew of the Ace of Spades, as well as the 26th-century framing narrative of Halo: Primordium.
