Elld is a Yonhet trader operating on the Via Casilina Trade Route. He is a noted individual due to his willingness to sell weapons of mass destruction.[1]
Biography[edit]
Elld and his investors were responsible for buying the secure freighter Flintlock upon its decommissioning from the Harris-Romner Bank, landing the ship on the colony world of Komoya and using it as his headquarters-turned-financial district for the planet.[2] In May 2557, Elld held an auction in the ship which was attended by Gek 'Lhar - a high-ranked commander in Jul 'Mdama's Covenant - among a number of other individuals. During the auction, Elld sold a Za'zayara-pattern Harvester to Gek for 50 million, much to the chagrin of the Kig-Yar and Jiralhanae bidders in attendance.
Personality and traits[edit]
Elld has markings on his bald head slightly different to those of Tomn, and has longer gills and teeth - suggesting that he is fairly old by Yonhet standards. He wears a grey tunic of a dark grey weave. He speaks in Yonhetian and, like the other members of his species, refers to himself in the third person. However, in his auctions, he uses an ambient translator projected into the hall to allow members of other species to understand him.[3]
Elld is an extremely paranoid individual, concerned with his own safety above all else; he strictly controls the use of all technology inside his headquarters[2] and maintains a strict no fighting policy within his auction hall. For anyone wishing to enter the auctions he holds, they must first submit to a credit check run by his staff to ensure the buyer is good for their money.[3] Once he sells an item to a buyer, they are not permitted to leave Komoya until they have transferred their money to him.[4]
