Oasis is one of several short stories in Halo: Fractures: Extraordinary Tales from the Halo Canon. Set in July 2558, it follows Dahlia, a colonist on Carrow, a world co-inhabited by humans and Sangheili, as she attempts to retrieve medical supplies for her critically ill parents from a Sangheili settlement.
