:The carrier ''Atlas'' was depicted in ''The Fall of Reach: Bootcamp'' comic, as tenuous as I take Marvel artist renditions. There were also at least 2 (as yet) identified ship classes in Halo 4 near Earth during Mantle's Approach's attack. There are no officially-released classes for any carriers, so that chart has a lot of made-up stuff. -[[User:ScaleMaster117|ScaleMaster117]] ([[User talk:ScaleMaster117|talk]]) 11:02, 28 September 2013 (EDT)

Title

I love the sound of this ship, lol --Climax Viod 19:41, 6 December 2006 (UTC)

This article has been deleted and rewrote and needs improvement --Climax Viod 09:49, 9 December 2006 (UTC)

"Others believe that the UNSC Supercarrier may be or be related to the UNSC Battle Cruiser that hovers over the Halo 3 multiplayer map Sandtrap, although this is unconfirmed." I think this line should be removed, the Ship in Sandtrap is not a Battlecruiser, but a UNSC Frigate. ---Longtime Lurker.

'Surely the Supercarrier is, rather than an incredibly powerful ship, simply similar to today's real Supercarriers?
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Supercarrier
This would explain its purpose, rarity, and a number of other things.
And considering the Carrier article contains this line: "a large warship carrying fighters equipped with flight decks for takeoffs and landings", we can assume the above is pretty accurate guess.

What does a supercarrier look like?

No images of a supercarrier exist at the moment, but presumably it would fit with the overall UNSC naval aesthetic - blocky, and battleship grey. -- Administrator Specops306 - Qur'a 'Morhek Honour Light Your Way! 02:47, 13 August 2009 (UTC)

Here are some pretty awesome model assumptions for video game mods. Halo Sins of the Prophets, mod for Sins of a Solar Empire http://www.moddb.com/mods/halo-sins-of-the-prophets/images/scale-edittexture-update#imagebox Halo Homefront, mod for Homeworld 2 http://www.moddb.com/mods/halo-homefront/images/unsc-supercarrier#imagebox And last but not least, Halo Covenant at War for Star Wars Empire at War Forces of Corruption http://www.moddb.com/mods/halo-covenant-at-war/images/weekly-update-110909-images1#imagebox

Oh, srry, yeah i kinda found out that fan is just RP but it did look pretty cool and reasonably could very well be a super carrier, and anyways i didnt find it. :(SPARTAN-III leader 22:53, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

Minor Mistakes

Anyone gets bothered when a certain word is misspelled or placed in the wrong section and cannot edit it. I for one, come to the Article page from time to time and continuously notice a singe letter before direct

Extract from the Article page - "These ships where made for direct t confrontation"

Is that single 't' supposed to be there or was it part of another word that was removed all but the 't'. Im now confused about this. Aloysius77 08:48, December 21, 2009 (UTC)

Question

It is possible there are Supercarriers in Halo 2. In the first level in the 1st cutscene two large ships are seen leading the UNSC Home fleet. These may be Carriers or Supercarriers. http://halopedian.com/File:Readout.jpg. Look at the two front ships of the home fleet.—This unsigned comment was made by Halo fan-051 (talkcontribs). Those are Cruisers.-- Forerunner 13:22, December 21, 2009 (UTC)
Marathon-class Cruisers to be specific.112 13:34, December 21, 2009 (UTC)

yeah, but Marathons or really any cruiser is sorta like a mini carrier.(i said mini because they wouldnt be loaded with troops and vehics like ships intended to be carriers)SPARTAN-III leader 23:40, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

File:Humanfleet.png|thumb|right|200px]]

It states on that same readout that the only class of vessels in that fleet are 8 cruisers and 67 frigates, no carriers. -- Lord Hyren 23:43, March 29, 2010 (UTC)

Supercarrier and super mac

Is it possible that these ships were powerful enough and long enough to have carried a super mac. If so it would ripped through covenant ships like paper. —This unsigned comment was made by Spartan Matt (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

I don't think it would be powerful enough to carry a Super MAC since the only Super MACs ever seen are on huge Orbital Defense PLatforms. Besides, no size has ever been stated for a supercarrier. Sign your comments.--Spartacus TalkContribs

Not to mention the fact that Super MACs are tied to a ground based power source. A free floating ship would be unable to produce all that power and be practical for combat. Tuckerscreator(stalk) 20:24, 8 February 2012 (EST)

The super carrier MAY have been an exception to that due to its size. Hopefully 343 will give us some information on this. I would love it if they brought a book called the ships of halo and it had all of the different types of unsc ships built statistics and they mention some of the more cooler ships like this one used during the human convenant war.We get to see the covenant great ships but in halo the games they only usually show us the crappy frigates. At least in the first one they show the halcyon and in the halo 2 we get introduced to the marathon class cruisers but it would be awsome to see them in action not just the frigates.

Any images?

Was the Supercarrier ever visually depicted in any of the books or comics? I've been dying to know what a UNSC Supercarrier looks like.262VigilantGuardian 02:06, 17 December 2012 (EST)

No, seriously, do ANY images of a UNSC Supercarrier exist at all?262VigilantGuardian 01:27, 19 December 2012 (EST)

Probably not, since they only appeared in the novel The Fall of Reach, and I don't recall seeing a supercarrier in its comic book adaptation. I might be wrong. —SPARTAN331 01:35, 19 December 2012 (EST)

That's unfortunate. I really have always wanted to know what one like the Trafalgar looked like. If one is shown in the comic adaption I'd be ecstatic. I don't think all the various ship classes outside the CAS, CCS, Halcyon, and UNSC frigates get enough exposure.262VigilantGuardian 01:46, 19 December 2012 (EST)

I agree. It's a way to save resources I guess, so they can start building in-game models from past games instead of starting all over. I just read through the whole comic, and there wasn't a scene with UNSC Trafalgar in it. —SPARTAN331 11:07, 19 December 2012 (EST)
That sucks. I'm also curious as to what it could've look like. At least we know what this ship looks like.--Killamint [Comm|Files] 12:19, 19 December 2012 (EST)

I am very glad that we finally have a legit image of the infamous "sniper ship" from the Fall of Reach. Still, I've always been rather put off by the fact that the Halo crew has rarely given other mainstream ships in either fleet much spotlight when there are so many other vessels to take note of. I mean we haven't gotten to see a Marathon-class cruiser in action since Halo 2. Maybe the UNSC Say My Name from ODST was a Marathon, but that was from the inside. One of the most powerful cruisers in the human arsenal? I don't think it's unreasonable to demand to see more of that ship in a game sometime.262VigilantGuardian 13:17, 19 December 2012 (EST)

It is very likely that after Reach and Earth there are no Marathons left. If there were, Hood would have used some in Halo 3 to attack the Dreadnought. Guardaxion

What a buzzkill. I want to see the full might of a Marathon in one of these games! Who's with me?262VigilantGuardian 15:41, 19 December 2012 (EST)

I'm sure just about everyone has seen this image by now. As you can see, it contains images of both the "Musashsi[sic]-Class Carrier and the "Frafalgar-Class Supercarrier". I'm not suggesting it's canon, but does anyone have any idea where the creator got these images? It doesn't seem like he just pulled them out of his ass.--Emblem 1.jpg Rusty-112 Admin comm 22:32, 27 September 2013 (EDT)

Fleet Battles

Now that it will appear in halo fleet battles have the unvailed what it will look like or when they plan on releasing information about the particular warship judging from what the halo encyclipedia says about its far bigger and far superior to a normal carrier so it may bigger then carrier but smaller then the unsc infinity it will be interesting to see what they show if they havent already showed us —This unsigned comment was made by Spartan Matt (talkcontribs). They released a model of the Epoch-class heavy carrier. I haven't seen any others. I hope they release more though. -- Topal the Pilot Blueteam.png (Talk|Contribs) 04:31, 19 August 2015 (EDT)

Name

Fleet Battles refers to the class as the "Trafalgar-class supercarrier". We should rename this article as such. It makes sense too, as UNSC Trafalgar was likely the lead ship of the class. Any comments or disagreements? --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 18:03, 8 September 2015 (EDT)

Well if that is what it says, then yes definitely. -- Topal the Pilot Blueteam.png (Talk|Contribs) 18:20, 8 September 2015 (EDT)
Makes sense to me, if that's true then seems fair.262VigilantGuardian (talk) 19:23, 8 September 2015 (EDT)

Trafalgar-class OR Punic-class

Fleet Battles says the UNSC Trafalgar is a Trafalgar-class supercarrier, but the new Cannon Fodder "Infinity and Beyond" says the Trafalgar is a Punic-class supercarrier.

Which one is the canon one? --They're coming. They're hungry. (talk) 15:17, 11 September 2015 (EDT)

I'm going with the Punic-class supercarrier, as the Fleet Battles name may have been a descriptor. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 15:23, 11 September 2015 (EDT)
I guess the company goofed on that. But anyways, I'd go with Punic-class.--Spartacus TalkContribs 15:26, 11 September 2015 (EDT)
