Template:Human Character Infobox Sergeant Thomas Chang (service number 01866-10032-TC) was a UNSC Marine who served during the Human-Covenant War, and was a veteran of engagements such as the Battle of Installation 04. He participated of the Battle of Mombasa, earning the rank of sergeant, but he was ultimately killed in the battle.
Biography
Battle of Mombasa
Thomas Chang was a veteran of multiple engagements, including the Battle of Installation 04. In the fall of 2552 Sergeant Chang joined the New Mombasa clash fifteen hours after the mission began. As a part of second UNSC infantry wave, the Sergeant was tasked with securing a forward HQ, as well as capturing Covenant prisoners for ONI interrogation.

Death
Immediately following the initial battle, Sergeant Chang was given a field promotion and ordered to the western shore of the Mombasa Quays. It was there, while on routine patrol, that Chang was killed by a Covenant Air Assault.

- It is unknown how Chang was able to escape the destruction of Installation 04.
