Images Source?
I'd like to know where these great images came from, as I can't find the source. Care to share? --Xamikaze330 [Transmission|Commencing] 08:47, 10 June 2014 (EDT)Xamikaze330
- Uh, it's in the list of sources. I sometimes wonder if you actually check the article's sources. *shrugs* — subtank 09:13, 10 June 2014 (EDT)
- Uh, yeah, I do check the sources at bottom. I meant like for the higher-resolution screenshots like the one of the Arbiter or Johnson. No idea where those two 1920x1080 screenshots came from. --Xamikaze330 [Transmission|Commencing] 09:21, 10 June 2014 (EDT)Xamikaze330
- It's from Halo Waypoint: Halo: The Master Chief Collection, the third link on the source. The image adjusts itself according to your computer resolution. You would need to grab it out from the website through other technical means. — subtank 09:24, 10 June 2014 (EDT)
[No subject]
Not sure if this is the proper place to ask, but does this page need to exist? If Halo 2 Anniversary was by itself, that's one thing, but it's a part of the Halo Master Chief Collection. So, shouldn't it be a part of that page, not separate? Not to be nit picky, but I was just curious.Siphon 117 13:05, 18 June 2014 (EDT)
- It's notable to have its own article simply because it received a proper game development from 343i.— subtank 14:08, 18 June 2014 (EDT)
Image replacements
All of the screenshots we have that are taken from cutscenes of Halo 2 Anniversary are work-in-progress images, as Blur was still working on the cutscenes at the time. So eventually, we will have to replace and re-upload all the images to ones from the complete and finalized cutscenes. Should we mark all the images taken from the game's cutscenes with a replace image template to easily categorize the images that need to be re-uploaded when H2A is released? - NightHammer (talk) 22:57, 3 October 2014 (EDT)
- Makes the most sense. -- SFH (talk) 23:02, 3 October 2014 (EDT)
- We should definitely upload up-to-date images when the game comes out, but rather than overwriting the WIP images it's better to keep at least some of the current ones just for the sake of illustrating what the models looked like earlier in development. The final versions should, of course, be used for canonical in-article images, but they should also be uploaded as separate files from the ones we have right now, which can remain as production curiosities if nothing else. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 14:17, 4 October 2014 (EDT)
- Okay, that makes sense. - NightHammer (talk) 14:52, 4 October 2014 (EDT)

several inconsistancies between cutscenes and ingame
The Pelican cockpits have side by side seats in cutscenes, but then same cockpit as all post Halo 3 games ingame. The only exception to this is the pelican at the beginning of outskirts which when looked inside can be seen. The energy swords seen in cutscenes match those from H:CE-H3 whilst ingame they are the Reach/H4 Also the Phantoms in cutscenes are the same purple colour seen since Halo 3, but ingame they are the same pink colour as in the original game. Renaming
I think the page should be renamed to Halo 2: Anniversary as almost all official sources call the game Halo 2: Anniversary not Halo 2 Anniversary, such as the official Halo Waypoint Master Chief Collection overview. -- Topal the Pilot (Talk) 20:58, 5 July 2015 (EDT)
- We might as well rename it then, since the publishers use the colon (give or take three months). Anyone else care to object?--Spartacus Talk • Contribs 12:45, 28 September 2015 (EDT)
- I agree, it has pretty consistently been rendered as such. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 12:49, 28 September 2015 (EDT)
Colon Checker
I am placing a colon in Halo 2 Anniversary to look like Halo 2: Anniversary, there is over 500 pages and if I do all that myself it is going to take to long and someone is just going to claim I am being a point whore, so if anyone wants to help use this [1] Alertfiend - Team Chief 00:46, 2 November 2015 (EST)
