Template:ArticleName Template:Weapon Infobox The energy dagger is an energy melee weapon employed by the Sangheili. It is mounted on the wrist of most Sangheili combat armor, and is used to carry out assassinations.[1]
Design details
The design bears much resemblance to the Type-1 Energy Weapon/Sword. Unlike the Energy Sword, however, it ends in a single point as opposed to the dual prongs of the Energy Sword. It appears to be mounted to a device worn on the wrists of the user. It is possible to use two daggers simultaneously, with one on each wrist.[1]
Trivia
- When playing a custom game (normal or Firefight), the dagger will not appear for Elite-on-Spartan assassinations, but the dagger will appear if the same match is watched in Theater mode.
- The dagger will also not appear if more than one player is playing on the same console. Because the Elite's fingers also do not move in splitscreen matches, the Elite will appear to use their fingers and claws instead.
