| It is an uncommon variant of the standard [[M12 Warthog LRV]], but with a passenger section capable of holding ten passengers bolted between the driver section and the gunner section. Basically, it is an extension of the Warthog Troop Transport, which only seats three Marines in the back.

| *One was seen in use by the [[United Rebel Front]] on the planet [[Victoria]] in the [[111 Tauri System]] by the [[SPARTAN-IIs]] of [[Blue Team]] in a field mission.<ref>[[Halo: Ghosts of Onyx]], Page 34</ref> as it carried nukes and the Spartans hid behind them as the drones coming after them attack. The nukes provided a shield from the bullets. A rebel controlled MAKO drone gave chase to the Warthog until it released an ARCHER missile which was destroyed by the SPARTANS pelican. Depleted uranium rounds destroyed the missile before it could reach the M12 Warthog which by then was riddled with AP rounds from the rebel "Confetti Makers". The Warthog still was able to reach the LZ for pick up.
