Talk:M12 Warthog APC
From Halopedia, the Halo wiki
Facts Confirmed[edit]
- On 13:33, 28 January 2007 (UTC) User:Manticore had some issues with this article, including, "In Halo: Ghosts of Onyx, this vehicle is described as a "modified Warthog" (Pg 34), and therefore is not a sub-class of Warthog. The article should remain but be changed to reflect that this is a one-off variant (so far).". However on 21:46, 4 February 2007 (UTC) they were resolved:
I changed the article to reflect that, if nothing else, it is a URF vehicle and not a UNSC vehicle.
This article may need some re-doing. The concept and screenshot of the M12 WAPC seems like a UNSC variant of the LRV (transport warthog concept for H2). The vehicle mentioned in Ghosts of Onyx is a modified LRV, fitted with a cargo mid-section and therefore shouldn't have it's own page. Pyromancer 20:21, 30 April 2007 (UTC)
Wrong picture![edit]
Wrong picture. The Warthog in the image is the Transport Hog, not the APC Hog. "TT" or Troop Transport mentioned by Frankie for Halo 3 is the Transprt Hog originally for Halo 2, the image you linked. But in no way is it the heavily armored APC hog from GoO. I am removing the image from the page. --User:MLG Cheehwawa
Sorry, my bad. I'll remove it myself. BTW, this pic seems to not to be official Bungie material, but a fan-made render originally featured on DeviantArt.com by an artist called gxshadow. I'll email him about permission to upload some of his material-he also has equally excellent renders of the Jungle Hog and the Snow Hog. He has friends who made renders of the Civillian and Gauss Hogs of similar quality, too! --User:Kalaong 12:22, 19 May 2007 (EST)
Can someone tell me how to upload a pic on a wiki so I can get a REAL picture from Halo: Custom Edition?
I got a real picture!
