The sword's grip notably includes a thin gel layer similar to that found within MJOLNIR Powered Assault Armor, a feature which reduces the shock felt by the user. Pattern-2 composite swords are commonly fielded by Spartans for use in assassinations and melee combat. {{Halopedia:Main Page/Random/Layout|Supernal Spiral-class keyship|File:Enc22 LowerDistricts.png|Supernal Spiral-class keyships were crafted by the Forerunner Builders and used by Lifeworkers to collect specimens, transport them to Installation 00, and then distribute them across the galaxy to reseed it with life following the activation of the Halo Array. As indicated by their classification, these vessels also act as keys to activate slipspace portals that are strategically-positioned throughout the Milky Way. Despite their mission of peace, these keyships are heavily armed and impressively durable. One of these vessels, the ''Anodyne Spirit'', had crashed on the San'Shyuum homeworld of Janjur Qom, eventually becoming the centerpoint of their religion and later the literal centerpoint of High Charity following the formation of the Covenant.}}<noinclude> | |||

Tem'Bhetek, commonly known simply as Tem, was a San'Shyuum Prelate of the Covenant's Ministry of Preparation. Serving directly under the Minister of Preparation, Tem was one of the most cunning warriors among the Prelates, furthering the High Prophet of Truth's plans to remove the Sangheili from the Covenant Empire. At the dawn of the Great Schism in November 2552, Tem and his fellow Prelates led Covenant forces against the Sangheili. However, the subsequent fall of High Charity resulted in the death of Tem's family and left him as the only surviving Prelate. After the Human-Covenant War, Tem and the Minister of Preparation sough revenge against the Swords of Sanghelios.
