Anvil is an operation in Halo Infinite. The operation ran from July 2, 2024 to July 30, 2024.[1] The operation is themed around ANVIL Station and the Anvil Initiative; the fictional framing for Halo Online and Series 5: Anvil of Halo: The Master Chief Collection - a joint collaborative program between the UNSC and Swords of Sanghelios. The operation focuses on the Rakshasa armor core, with Sangheili-themed customizations options.
A short story titled Halo: Anvil Accord was released on July 22, 2024, to accompany the event.

Production notes[edit]
The operation was originally announced as Spartan Surplus, but the content within it was shuffled, and it was eventually retitled to Anvil for currently unknown reasons.[2] The content within Spartan Surplus was Mark IV-themed, featuring the Ökonom helmet and the TAC/Gregor shoulders. Ultimately, the helmet and shoulders would be released through Infinite's store. Additionally, content within the updated operation pass came from a scrapped bundle originally dubbed "Contract Killer".
