Overview[edit]

Design details[edit]

Main article: Veporokk Workshop Ravager

"The capacity for this weapon to launch projectiles that bounce before erupting into toxic piles was of great use in flushing our foes from cover. How they flailed and danced to our battle song!"
Arthoc praising the Ravager Rebound in a transmission.[2]

The Rebound variant of the Ravager differs from the standard Veporokk design in a few major ways. In addition to having a white chassis, the weapon fires plasma projectiles injected with pockets of infusion matter,[2] allowing the fired projectiles to bounce off surfaces and have multiple secondary detonations.[1][3][4] Unlike the standard Ravagers produced by the Forge of Torograd, the Rebound variant is produced by the Armory of Reckoning.[1][2]

Usage[edit]

During the Banished occupation of Installation 07 in 2560, Captain Arthoc notably requisitioned a Ravager Rebound from the Armory of Reckoning prior to the assault on the UNSC stronghold at the wreckage of UNSC Mortal Reverie. The unique properties of the Ravager Rebound's ammunition made it ideal for clearing out the corridors of the crashed vessel.[2] Impressed with the weapon's performance, Arthoc kept it in his possession after the battle.[2][6] He later used the weapon in a combat encounter with John-117, though was defeated by the Spartan.[7]

In-game information[edit]

Halo Infinite[edit]

In campaign, the Ravager Rebound is a legendary weapon awarded to the player after defeating the High Value Target, Arthoc. The weapon can be acquired at any Forward Operating Base. It fires projectiles that bounce at least once before detonating, allowing the bolts to reach farther targets.[3][5]
