- Dr. Catherine Halsey reviewed Kurt-051's progress noting he was good at bonding with his team. The review contained an image of a battle in 1066 that Kurt drew.[1]

- 0920: The SPARTAN-II candidates are forced to run through a course while being shot at with paint pellet guns. Each trainee that is hit by paint pellets is forced to do an exorbitant amount of push-ups.[3]

- Dr. Catherine Halsey makes an entry in her journal wherein she identifies four Spartan-IIs that she and Franklin Mendez agree are the best candidates for leadership out of all the children in the program. Those four are Kurt-051, Jerome-092, Frederic-104, and John-117. Mendez is leaning towards Kurt but Halsey is confident that John is the best choice.[4]
