The Mark 15 Breakwater naval coilgun is a heavy ship-to-ship turret created for the UNSC Navy. They are prominently featured on the heaviest carrier classifications of the UNSC Navy, and may be alternatingly referred to as "mini-MAC batteries".[1] Each Breakwater cannon features three large coilguns arrayed in a large turreted battery.
Two Breakwater cannons are featured on the Epoch-class heavy carrier, with one such weapon placed on the fore of each wing.[2] The Punic-class supercarrier also features two Breakwater cannons featured on the vessel's mid-section.[3][1]
