Eudemon, officially known to the UNSC as "X49-05", is a satellite orbiting an unknown planet and a Unified Earth Government colony[3] in the Farfield system.[1]

Overview[edit]

Topography and ecology[edit]

The moon is oxygen rich, a lot of water, and filled with life comparable to Earth's makeup. However, the moon's tectonic activity was irregular and problematic.[2]

History[edit]

Postwar[edit]

It was discovered by a pioneer group after the Human-Covenant War, and considered a lucky find; however, concerns remained about the moon's structural integrity.[3] Research teams were deployed into the moons cavernous interiors.[2] The moon was nevertheless colonized in 2554.[1]

A simulation of a cave found on the moon was later used by the UNSC Infinity's SPARTAN-IV complement for training.[3]

Trivia[edit]
