The 3rd Battalion 12th Marines (map designate: MAR 12 || 3/12) was an infantry formation of the UNSC Marine Corps during the Human-Covenant War. [1] This battalion was garrisoned in the central Viery territory of the Human colony of Reach. It was a subordinate battalion under the 12th Marine Regiment during the invasion to counter Covenant Army landing forces.
