The Covenant Air Artillery was a Covenant unit cut from Halo Wars.[1] It was to be a weapons platform armed with three plasma mortars (also the main armament of the Wraith). As it had no onboard defenses, it could have been very vulnerable if dealt with promptly. However, its heavy plasma mortar cannons could lay waste to an entire UNSC base.[2] Template:Deletemat
Trivia
- It was replaced in the game by the new Vampire due to the fact that the Locust replaced its role as an anti-building siege weapon. It was also the first known unit to be deleted from Halo Wars.
