I think it is just the key that opens the portal to [[The Ark]]. Theory

When I first saw this article... i thought it was junk. i thought it was somethin from the chronicles of narnia. lol. i think it is fake. the key. i think that it is a ruse. and cleveland? come on! AJ 00:27, 28 August 2007 (UTC)

However, the key could be required for a full Array activation, but not for single detonations, as a sort of stop-gap measure to insure the galaxy is not wiped out by accident.
