The Covenant Destroyer[1] is a warship classification within the Covenant Navy.
Background
This class of starship is extremely well-armed, boasting multiple pulse laser turrets, plasma torpedo launcher(s) and Seraph-class starfighters. Jacob Keyes noted its weapons systems, saying it turned UNSC ships into "Swiss cheese".
They seem to have a central hull or fuselage and two vertical "wings" attached to the rear section. It can glass planets with an energy projector mounted on the front of the ship.
Probably the most well-known ship of this class was the Bloodied Spirit, captured by three SPARTAN-IIs, Fred, Will, and Linda, in a haphazard plan which recovered captured nuclear warheads, eliminated another Brute-controlled destroyer, and gave them a much faster ship to take them to Onyx.
